Located in Warnertown, South Australia, the Warnertown Battery Energy Storage System is a 5 MW / 10 MWh standalone battery project. The project was successfully commissioned on 4 August 2026.
As Green Gold Energy’s first standalone battery energy storage project, the Warnertown BESS represents an important milestone in the continued expansion of our energy storage portfolio. Fully delivered by our in-house EPC team, the project demonstrates our growing end-to-end capability in the design, construction and commissioning of battery energy storage systems.
Our dedicated GGE in-house development team, supported by our engineering team, meticulously identifies suitable land for our solar farm projects. Additionally, our development team specialises in achieving Connection Approvals (CA) and Development Approvals (DA), ensuring our projects progress smoothly towards the shovel-ready stage.
Green Gold Energy is a company providing turnkey solutions for Solar+ Projects, which are designed for renewable energy that combine solar power generation with BESS, Microgrid, Hydrogen, EV Charge Stations and Data Centers.
