Maungaturoto Solar Farm
Green Gold Energy successfully completed the electrical installation for the 21 MWdc Papareireiā Solar Farm in Maungaturoto, New Zealand in 2025.
Delivered under the leadership of CHINT Green Energy New Zealand and featuring over 33,000 high-efficiency TOPCon modules from Astronergy Solar, the project now generates more than 30 GWh of clean electricity each year — enough to supply around 4,000 homes or charge 12,800 electric vehicles annually. It is expected to cut carbon emissions by approximately 30,000 tonnes annually.
Our role focused on delivering the electrical works to the highest safety and performance standards. Green Gold Energy continues to provide full EPC and project development services across Australia and New Zealand, contributing to the region’s ongoing renewable energy transition.
