ENERGY OF THE FUTURE

Energy of the Future: Partnership between Green Gold Energy & Astronergy Solar Australia Group

Over the past three years, Green Gold Energy Pty Ltd (GGE) has been heavily involved in the development of solar power projects in South Australia (SA). So far, GGE has delivered 15 projects with a total scale of AC60MW and DC72MW for Astronergy Solar Australia Group. Of these, 60% of the projects are at the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) stage and 40% have been connected to the grid for power generation.

Astronergy Solar Australia Group and GGE co-invest and develop solar farms in SA. As these investment projects start construction, they will create more than 300 jobs for SA. Following its completion, the projects will be able to supply power to approximately 20,000 households each year, reducing carbon emissions by 110,000 tons annually.

Astronergy Solar Australia Group recognises the high quality of the projects developed by GGE and the two parties have established a close cooperative relationship. Throughout this partnership, Astronergy Solar Australia Group and GGE have worked together to solve problems and have accumulated valuable experience. In September 2019, Astronergy Solar Australia Group and GGE also cooperated on Morgan Solar Farm with a scale of AC100MW and DC120MW. The development of this project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021, with construction starting in early 2022.

Today, the GGE team is the only renewable company in SA that focuses on the development of both distribution connection and transmission connection solar projects. The projects we develop are divided into three categories:

1. 99KW-1MW rooftop behind the meter projects.

2. 1-5MW small and medium scale ground projects.

3. 15-150MW medium and large-scale ground projects.

GGE and its subsidiaries are also involved in project EPC and investments. GGE and Astronergy Solar Australia Group have also reached an agreement to develop large-scale projects as well as EPC cooperation over the next 4 years, creating more than 500 jobs. In the future, the two parties will further explore the development, investment, and construction of many large-scale projects to bring quality renewable energy to Australia.

GGE continues to explore and cultivate in the solar energy industry and achieved in the efficient use of solar energy, reducing emissions and the promotion of social economy. We aim to bring valuable projects to the Australian community while working hard to reduce environmental pollution and damage, actively contribute to environmental protection and help preserve this beautiful country through the production of sustainable green energy.
